Traditionally the job of a rancher has been associated with men. The iconic figure of a person that works with cattle is something on the lines of John Wayne in an old Wild West film. One of the unique parts of Ranchlands is that it takes that stereotype, and flips it on its head.
After only a short time looking at Ranchlands social media it becomes very apparent that there is a large female presence, intricately woven into the fabric of this company. The women working at Ranchlands are a powerhouse team that span across all the different roles within the company. They range from marketing to managers, interns to education, wranglers to leather workers, and more!

I have only been interning at Chico Basin Ranch for a short while so far; But in just that time I have come to appreciate and respect the incredible women that I work alongside with each day. I am inspired by their vast skills, passion and continuous insight.

I look forward to continuing my work with this wonderful and diverse team, and I’m happy and proud to be a woman in the fabric of this Ranchlands family.
